Last week Imani Duncan-Price, our Group Marketing Manager was presented with an opportunity to serve our country as a Government Senator. Given that this is in line with her long-term goal to enable the development and growth of Jamaica via a healthy and vibrant political system, she has decided to pursue this opportunity and will resign from her position at JMMB.
As such, Mrs. Duncan-Price has resigned effective May 11, 2012 to enable the company to find an appropriate replacement and facilitate a smooth transition. As JMMB continues its expansion in the region, Mrs. Duncan-Price’s international experience in strategy development and extensive knowledge of the brand will be called on from time to time, in a consulting capacity on specific projects.
According to Mrs. Duncan-Price, “JMMB is on a critical path for the next phase of sustainable growth, truly becoming a regional company, headquartered in Jamaica. It has been a tremendous learning experience being part of the JMMB family full-time for the last 4 1/2 years – we have such an incredibly beautiful team and that is the heart and soul of this company. The lessons, values and principles garnered here will always stay with me and guide the way in which I contribute in all other endeavours.”
The JMMB Team celebrates this bold step with Imani. We are proud and confident that she will bring to her new role what she brought to JMMB – commitment, zeal, honesty, passion and love.
