What to consider before applying
There are a few things that you should consider prior to applying to JMMB RS.
At what age do I want to retire?
- The application process requires you to chose a retirement age
- Normal retirement occurs between 60 – 65 years for both males and females
- You can opt for early retirement ; this can be up to 10 years prior to normal retirement age (earliest 50 years) or you can chose late retirement, which is a maximum of 5 years after normal retirement age (maximum 70 years old)
What is my level of risk?
- Moderate
- Conservative
- Aggressive
Members will have the flexibility of switching between fund strategies. A fund strategy switch will only be permitted once every calendar year, but can occur multiple times in the life of your pension plan.
You should also consider the following:
- The amount and frequency of contribution you wish to make.
- How you wish to submit payments to us.
- Who you would wish to receive the benefits payable in the event of your death on the accompanying Beneficiary Form. Note that these details can be amended at any time by completing a revised Beneficiary Form.
