Cecile Cooper
Managing Director, JMMB Insurance Brokers Limited

Cecile Cooper was appointed Managing Director, JMMB Insurance Brokers Limited in February 2009. Prior to this, she held the title of Manager for Culture and Leadership Development at JMMB. As a transformational leader, she has guided individuals towards tapping into their unique attributes on the way to finding their 'true passion in life'. In addition to this, she was accountable for leading cultural change projects and coaching team members in living the values and building the culture that produces extraordinary results personally and collectively.

Beginning in June 2003 as the Business Operations Manager, Cecile was accountable for the islandwide Branch Network and was responsible for establishing targets and monitoring performance in-keeping with the strategic goals and agreed standards for JMMB.

She is currently a Director of the College of Insurance & Professional Studies (CIPS) Board of Studies as well as the Insurance Institute of Jamaica (IIJ). As an insurance professional, she previously held several managerial posts including property, motor, claims, risk and reinsurance in the general insurance sector during her 22 years tenure with NEM Insurance Company (Jamaica) Ltd. Cecile gained significant exposures to both the local and international insurance market place in the course of her assignments.

She is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII), a Chartered Insurer (CI) and the holder of an Executive MBA.
