JMMB Group Celebrates Media Partnerships with ‘Off the Record’ Appreciation Brunch
The JMMB Group recently hosted Off the Record, a media appreciation brunch that brought together journalists, producers, editors, broadcasters and communication professionals from across Jamaica for an afternoon of connection, conversation and appreciation. Held at M10 Bar & Grill on Red Hills Road in Kingston, the event highlighted the value of JMMB's longstanding partnerships with the media and recognised their important role in helping to inform, educate and connect communities through impactful storytelling.
Designed as a refreshing break from deadlines, interviews and the fast pace of the news cycle, Off the Record provided an opportunity for media practitioners and JMMB team members to connect in a relaxed setting, fostering authentic conversations and deeper relationships beyond the day-to-day business of news gathering and reporting.
Welcoming guests, Kerry-Ann Stimpson, Group Chief Marketing Officer, JMMB Group, expressed heartfelt appreciation for the media's continued support and partnership over the years.
"At JMMB, we recognise that behind every headline, story and broadcast are dedicated professionals who work tirelessly to keep the public informed. This event is our way of expressing sincere gratitude for the role you play in helping us share stories that matter and for the partnership we have built together over the years. We are delighted that you chose to spend part of your weekend with us and hope this afternoon provided an opportunity to relax, reconnect and simply enjoy each other's company," said Stimpson.
The event reflected JMMB's commitment to building relationships grounded in trust, respect and genuine connection, values that continue to guide the Group's interactions with clients, partners and communities across the region.
Guests enjoyed great food, lively conversation, networking opportunities and interactive activities, all within an atmosphere that celebrated connection, collaboration and community. Stimpson also thanked attendees for their trust, professionalism and commitment to excellence in journalism, noting the important role the media plays in fostering informed public dialogue and connecting communities with the stories that matter.
The event reaffirmed JMMB Group's commitment to nurturing strong relationships with its media partners and creating opportunities for continued engagement beyond the headlines. As the Group continues to share stories of impact, innovation and empowerment, these partnerships remain instrumental in helping JMMB connect with the communities it serves and advance its mission of making a positive difference in people's lives.
